“Musical Statue” features a dancer seated in a chair, adorned in a flowing, ethereal dress set against the backdrop of Industrial Newcastle. With a vacant expression, the dancer remains motionless, gazing into the distance amidst a silent ambiance filled with natural sounds like birdsong and rustling wind. along with the highway above.
Suddenly, a faint melody, reminiscent of a ballerina music box, reaches the dancer's ears. Stirred by the sound, they rise from the chair and begin to dance, seemingly compelled by the music, embodying the concept of a "musical statue". As the dancer moves towards the origin of the music, it grows louder, reaching a crescendo that fills them with a sense of hope and joy, allowing them to finally dance freely.
Drawn closer to the source, a ballerina music box comes into view. However, just as the dancer reaches a peak of exhilaration, the music abruptly ceases as hand maliciously slams the music box shut, essentially capturing the ballerina by halting the music and the musical statue.
